Primarily responsible in overseeing the status of the projects of the company. He will supervise how engineers plan, budget and document all aspects of the project. He will work closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as others departments for support.
Responsible for overseeing a construction project from beginning to end, ensuring that project is completed within time and budgetary constraints.
They are also responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of the construction process, including working with the design professionals, consultants, vendors, clients and obtaining of all necessary permits and licenses.
The Project Director also ensures that the construction project complies with all building codes and any other statutory or regulatory requirements.
