About company
The village of Wulksfelde had belonged to the Hamburg cathedral chapter since 1345 and was sold to the aristocratic Borstel estate around 1526. When the Jersbek estate was split up, the Wulksfelde estate became its dairy farm. As a result, the estate frequently changed hands. Hamburg merchants ran a wide variety of businesses here: a brick factory, a calico factory, a schnapps distillery, a glassworks and a brown beer brewery. There were also two mills: a paper water mill and a grain water mill - both of which were built in the second half of the 19th century. burned down. Today's diversity in Wulksfelde is in the good tradition of this eventful history.
