Die Unternehmensgruppe Joos ist ein, in der Bauwirtschaft sehr gut etabliertes, zukunftsorientiertes und modern strukturiertes Unternehmen mit Hauptsitz in Hartheim bei Freiburg und Niederlassung in Karlsruhe. Johann Joos Tief- und Straßenbauunternehmung GmbH & Co KG was founded in 1950 by its namesake, the civil engineer Johann Joos, and has been based in Hartheim, around 20 km southwest of Freiburg, since 1989. The first asphalt mixing plant was built in Breisach-Oberrimsingen as early as 1954. Today one of the most modern asphalt mixing plants in the world is located here. The Joos Group is now one of the leading construction companies in the region and beyond. The Joos Group includes - in addition to Johann Joos Tief- und Straßenbauunternehmung GmbH & Co. KG and Joos Umwelttechnik GmbH - two gravel plants, a quarry and other investments. The Joos Group employs a total of 350 people in a wide variety of areas.
