Philipp Niegisch, 29, business economist "After I narrowly decided against training as a pastry chef and studying business administration, I am returning to my passion with Woop Woop IceCream!" Boris König, 35, physicist (resigned as a partner in 2019) "I am driven to bring my knowledge of physics to my customers in the form of delicious ice cream!" The two founders met in an entrepreneurship lecture at the Free University of Berlin. It quickly became clear that Boris did not want to end up in a physics laboratory and Philipp did not want to end up in a large corporation, but would rather revolutionize the ice cream market together with innovative ice cream. On their mission to produce the best ice cream in the world, they have been working on the idea, concept, technology and product since 2011 and have been wholeheartedly involved in the project since spring 2014 with Woop Woop Ice Cream and their Woop Woop Foodtruck. In autumn 2016 you were able to reach the next milestone by opening the first Woop Woop Store (Rosenthaler Straße 3, 10119 Berlin). Boris left the company at the beginning of 2019 in order to devote himself to new technical challenges. Philipp enjoys running his unique ice cream company and has decided to continue running the company as a small, cool company without any expansion plans.
