We plan, plan, develop, configure and operate efficient systems and applications for the REWE Group - one of the leading German and European retail and tourism groups with around 360,000 employees. Our approximately 1,300 IT specialists set standards for the use of IT in retail and develop new technologies for the industry. Moving the digital world of REWE Group - that means more than 80 logistics centers, 100 wide area network lines and more than 23,000 local network connections via which 26,000 scanner tills in more than 7,500 stores are constantly supplied with data. The logistics systems used for this deliver more than 10 million data records back to our systems every day so that our experts can organize the replenishment of goods on time and overnight. Of course, this only works with a sophisticated and high-performance IT and telecommunications landscape that is available 24/7 - that is exactly our job. In order to meet this requirement, we are continuously optimizing our systems and of course adapting new technological developments, such as mobile payment.
