El Mawloud Clinic

"El Mawloud", is the first center for medically assisted procreation opened in Oran, in the Boulanger district, by a group of specialists in gynecology and obstetrics. The center, which plans to cover all of Oran, has the latest generation of equipment and provides various services ranging from intrauterine insemination (IUI) to in vitro fertilization (IVF). New techniques in medically assisted procreation for in vitro fertilization are available for the management of all the anomalies that affect sterile and hypofertile couples (low fertility of a man, due to the insufficient number and uneven quality of sperm). The center is also equipped with a laboratory which provides biological examinations, in particular spermograms, post-coital tests, hormonal assessment and karyotypes. This last examination makes it possible, from a blood test, to detect genetic abnormalities which can cause a handicap for the fetus.
