Deutsche Bundesbank

The Deutsche Bundesbank is the central bank of the Federal Republic of Germany and thus the "bank of banks". Since 1999 it has been part of the Eurosystem, in which it is responsible for the common currency, the euro, together with the other national central banks and the European Central Bank.
