About company
We are a family business with an international outlook and based in Lauf in the Nuremberg metropolitan region.
In 1925,
ABL invented the SCHUKO plug. Whether the classic rubber plug or the innovative Elamid plug – ABL is the original.
In 1933,
the first automatic circuit breaker was developed on our premises. Today we manufacture high quality miniature circuit breakers for electrical building infrastructure and switchgear engineering.
In 2011,
we developed the smallest wallbox for charging electric vehicles. Today, thousands of our eMH1 units are already in operation – across the globe. Our new eMH3 Twin wallbox, as well as our eMC2 and eMC3 charging poles for public applications, can even charge two vehicles at the same time.
