Gorzelany family We, the Gorzelany family, are very close to nature and attach great importance to the welfare of our animals. A sustainable and conscientious approach to nature is very important to us. Since 2007 we have been operating as a family business according to the principles of organic farming in order to be able to offer our customers a healthy and nutritionally conscious selection of self-produced, regional products. Our family business is certified according to the strict guidelines of the Naturland Association . Our animals We want to offer our cows and chickens the most natural and species-appropriate animal husbandry possible in order to enable them to have such a beautiful life. For the herd of suckler cows, we have a spacious straw barn with a small run for the winter and two spacious green pastures for the summer. We also offer our chickens a lot of space in a barn and an additional green run. As a result, painful procedures such as shortening the beak are not necessary and are forbidden anyway. So that our chickens don't get bored, we keep them busy with picking stones, alfalfa bales to scratch, sand baths and much more. The feed for the animals grows on our own fields, which means that we can completely do without imported feed and fattening aid. Our agriculture Around 45 hectares of our agricultural land is arable land, on which, among other things, the grass clover, which is important for organic farming and serves as feed for our cows, grows. We also grow spelled, lentils, triticale, oats, potatoes and other vegetables. We achieve high quality with our products through the manual and elaborate maintenance of our usable areas.
