My first memory with baking is when I made a birthday cake for my mother with my Aunt Merce. He had meringue and sponge cake. She and I, together in the kitchen, it was a super special moment for me.
And although when I grew up I took the path of the Legal Profession, in the end I returned to where my heart was, to desserts.
In 2015 I set up Irene Bakery, and started my professional path in Creative Pastry. What I didn't know is that I would enjoy teaching and sharing my pastry knowledge with other women.
Teaching fills my soul, sharing and spending a little while preparing desserts with my students takes me to my aunt Merce's kitchen, and it makes me very happy.
But since I am a restless ass, not everything is teaching, and I have found my specialty in wedding and event cakes, I am always innovating decorations and creating new flavors to surprise.
